Dr. Luis Orozco

Dr. Luis Orozco is a licensed therapist and an organizational consultant with over 20 years of experience in the behavioral health field. He is the Founder and Executive Director of Whittier Counseling Center in Whittier, California. His areas of expertise include mental health, conflict resolution, organizational behavior, and crisis management.

Dr. Orozco's previous experience includes serving as a Mental Health Commissioner for Los Angeles County, advising the County's Board of Supervisors on how best to provide needed mental health services to the County's 10 million residents. In addition, he served the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health for over a decade in various roles, including Case Manager, Psychiatric Social Worker, and Mental Health Clinical Supervisor. In his work with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, he has spearheaded numerous projects involving collaborations with various community organizations, governmental agencies, and law enforcement.

Dr. Orozco holds a Doctorate Degree in Social Work from USC, a Master's Degree in Social Work with an emphasis on children, youth, and families from California State University, Long Beach, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Work from California State University, Los Angeles. He is also a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
